Spivey
Hall is one of the finest concert halls in our nation.
Located
on the
Clayton State University Campus the workshop is held
in the
music building
adjacent to the hall, and workshop participants get
the
grand tour
of the hall and backstage where you will see the “Wall
of
Fame” (a
photo gallery of the world class musicians who have
appeared
in Spivey
hall since it opened about 15 years ago.)
Getting
there: About a mile east of I-75 just south of the
Atlanta airport, it
is easy
to find by car. Those
flying in should contact other participants via
our forum
to get help with transportation from the airport.
Accommodations:
There are many motels and suites motels within 6
miles
of the
campus. Back roads to and from the campus help you
avoid I-75
traffic.
