When is the registration fee due?
Registrations close 10 days prior to the state date of any workshops. We accept credit card, check, or money order with your application. If you need an invoice or have any questions, contact the GAMA-TGW Office.
Will I receive graduate credits for taking this course?
The Workshops can be taken for Graduate credit for an additional $170 fee. Attendees who apply for graduate credits and successfully complete the course will receive three (3) graduate credits from VanderCook College of Music. You can repeat Level I and/or Level II for credit, however it is up to your school district if they will accept it.
Why does the application ask for my Social Security Number?
The Teaching Guitar Workshops are accredited through VanderCook College of Music. Your SSN is only required if you register to take the Workshop for credit. SSN’s submitted through our form are encrypted, but if you would prefer to call us with that information you may do so at 972-233-9107, x221.
Will Teaching Guitar Workshops pay for my travel and food?
No, attendees are responsible for their own travel, room and board.
Do I need to bring a guitar?
Yes, attendees should plan to bring their own guitars. Attendees who register for the 2020 workshops within 30 days of the state date will receive a free guitar. There may also be guitars at your site to borrow, but you should contact your instructors for more information.
How will I receive my guitar, books, and accessories?
The members of GAMA will provide books and accessories for all attendees to keep.
What if I need to cancel?
Refunds for TGW registration fees will be processed as follows:
Registration fees will be refunded, less a $50 admin fee, if requested more than 1 month before the start of the workshop.
If a refund is requested less than 1 month prior to the workshop, but more than 24 hours prior, 50% of the initial registration fee will be refunded.

Do I have to be a current NAfME Member?
No, however we encourage all attendees to join NAfME. We offer a discount to current members. Contact the TGW office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Can I repeat Level I or Level II?
You can repeat either Level I and/or Level II and receive an $80 discount on your registration fee! We love our Alumni and look forward to them returning.
